98th Academy Awards
Happy three months into the new year everyone! I hope you're having a great 2026 so far- and, if you aren't, I'm sorry to hear that BUT I'm proud of you for hanging in there. Perhaps you can at least take solace in last year's selection of great movies? I mean, there were some real stinkers, but there were some awesome hits too! What better way to honor these movies than to discuss the 98th annual Academy Awards?! Our silly little award show did a decent job this year- I've only got one or two complaints regarding the nominees this go around, which is about as good as it gets. As always, choosing the winner is a bit arbitrary, but below I'll do my best to break down what I liked and what I think will win.
